A client in the Nashville Tennessee area is seeking a Product Owner for a permanent position.

The Product Owner is responsible for the success of the product by maximizing the output of the development team within an Agile framework. You’ll be responsible for prioritizing the backlog, clearly expressing the product backlog items, prioritizing the items to best achieve product goals and optimizing the value of the work the team performs.

• Lead collaboration efforts with business stakeholders, UX, Product Managers, and technical teams to understand, analyze, refine, prioritize, and communicate needs on single-team initiatives
• Convert ambiguity into clarity
• Articulate the product vision, writing new user stories, and specify acceptance of each user story
• Create/communicate requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable stories
• Take an active leadership role in epic/story grooming and elaboration in the context of sprint planning and grooming sessions
• Ensure full understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements for prioritized initiatives
• Communicate the upcoming priorities of work and ensure the technical team understands the items in the product backlog
• Safeguard quality upfront and accept completed work
• Collaborate and provide transparency into development plans and upcoming releases for prioritized initiatives
• Ensure customer focus, working with performance and support teams to validate ongoing user experience
• Communicates information typically within and around the agile team on matters relevant to prioritized initiatives
• May provide guidance and assistance to entry level Product Owners and/or support employees

•Established and productive individual contributor with 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience leading development teams in an Agile development or SaaS environment
•Works independently, under some supervision
•Strong communication skills including presentation and collaboration around assigned areas

Preferred Skills:
•Healthcare experience

•Up to 10% as needed

A Bachelor's degree is preferred
