A client in the Franklin, Tennessee area is seeking a Director of Product Management for a permanent position.

This position is 100% remote due to Covid but there will be meetings that require onsite work on occasion.

The Director will provide best practices of Product/Project Management for the company. This includes delivering product plans, product management, strategic prioritization, and leadership for the technologies that drive the company’s portfolio of products. In addition, the Director will be responsible for initiatives encompassing the product lifecycle from concept to operational maturity, as well as the creation and communication of the product vision. This is accomplished by working collaboratively with all sectors of the organization involved in the product lifecycle.

The Director will drive the technology strategy and execution for the client’s internal software and data products. For software, this includes Scheduler Software, Mobile software (new), and Patient Portal software (new). For data, this includes the data warehouse and production reporting. At this time, the engineering resources are outsourced but the client wishes to develop their own capability and subject matter expertise in-house.

• Accountable for involving the subject matter experts in clinical, compliance, and legal in product design decisions
• Implement internal controls in technology products as defined by the business
• Set the strategy for the clients technology products
• Establish Product Roadmaps that align with the business discipline priorities
• Develop and deliver steering committee and portfolio presentations
• Work across engineering, design, security, marketing, operations, and finance to execute product strategy
• Schedule and facilitate solution meetings to create product definitions
• Identify and prioritize features
• Deliver on KPI’s, improve customer satisfaction and drive business outcomes
• Embrace and execute agile development – quickly turning ideas into MVP’s, measuring the effect on KPI’s
• Provide high-level collaboration and transparency around product requirements, design and progress
• Lead a team of clinical innovation analysts and product owners to evolve the customer experience; provide coaching and development
• Work closely with third party vendors to understand product capabilities
• Manage 5 direct reports: Senior Clinical Innovation Analyst, Clinical Innovation Analyst (2), Senior Product Owner, Implementation Project Manager

Required skills:
• 10+ years of Product Management and product development
• 5+ years of people management and team leadership experience
• Experience working with engineers in an agile software development environment
• Ability to communicate technically complex ideas and concepts
• Strong Management and supervisor skills
• Expert knowledge of technical product management
• Skills in productivity, planning and workload management
• Ability to understand business strategy, organization, function and company goals
• Prior experience leading a cross-functional team to launch new products
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, goals and objectives

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Healthcare Administration or another related field is required
