Remote IT Service Desk Analyst

A client in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a Remote IT Service Desk Analyst for permanent position.

This Analyst will respond to, investigate, and resolve various technology issues related to software, hardware, connectivity issues, mobile devices, etc. As representatives of the IT department, the Analysts must be able to effectively support users in all positions and any skill level.

This Analyst will work the first 6-8 weeks on-site for their initial training. During this period, the client provides downtown parking at no charge. Following training, the Analyst will work 100% remote but must live in the Middle Tennessee area. The schedule for the Analyst following training will be Monday – Friday, 5:45 p.m. – 2:15 a.m. Since this is an alternate shift, the Analyst will be paid a $250 bi-weekly shift differential or $6,000 per year in addition to their salary.

• Work with users, collect information about problems, lead users through diagnostic procedures, handle problem recognition, research the issues and provide resolution follow-up
• Log and track calls using the clients ACD Ticketing System; the client is currently utilizing ChangeGear for this activity
• Participate in companywide project efforts
• Have active involvement with the client’s project efforts, participate in testing efforts, and form effective professional relationships with IT staff members, the user community and management
• Help identify and develop proposed solutions for process gaps enabling the service desk operation to provide optimum service delivery
• Attend training on required applications when required

Required skills:
• 3 years related Service Desk experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook 2016
• Knowledge of Windows 10, Word 2016, Excel 2016, Adobe Acrobat DC or later, and Internet Explorer 10 or higher
• Familiar with supporting and troubleshooting various remote access tools including VPN, Citrix or Web Mail
• Knowledge of laptops, remote access support tools including VPN, Citrix or Web Mail
• Strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills
• Ability to work from home during times of firm or building crisis or adverse weather conditions

Preferred skills:
• Experience supporting document management systems (e.g. NetDocuments) or Aderant Expert

• 2-year certificate from a college or technical school or a related certification is preferred
• A+ Certification is a plus
